Sanding & Clearing
Saturday, 30th March, was a day to remember. The team were promised sanding, and by jove, they got that and more! As well as tackling door frames and windows, there were further stripping activities: this time of the ceilings to get rid of the polystyrene tiles.
Downstairs, the team tackled the gents’ toilet and also cleared up the bar area, which had a lot of debris and rubble.
Outside, the last bits of the planters were removed, and a general tidy-up was done. There were also some tip runs to get rid of the wood pile that was building up next to the skip.
There is still lots of preparation work to do before we can start putting the pub back together.
