The first fundraising Coffee Morning for our new community charity, the King George VI Day Centre, went down a storm last Friday. Sue Dorey, KGVI volunteer and Swan sponsor, attended with WOPWA Trustee Kim Dutton, telling us all about the centre’s important work and bringing a whopping cake! Thanks to all who came to eat it, over £200 was raised. Next month’s coffee morning will be on Friday 22nd March, a week early to avoid Good Friday the following week.
