What a sensational weekend filled with unforgettable moments, laughter, and indulgence! From amazing company to delicious food and drinks, Swanfest was truly epic. We even smashed a Guinness World Record whilst raising £1,400 for the Renovation Pot, thanks to our exciting raffle!
Day 1
One of the first activities at SwanFest was the ‘Dunk Tank’. Micky was very confident of staying dry as he had manipulated the target to be sooooo small as almost impossible to hit from a distance. Well almost! It didn’t take long before he was dropped into the tank.
Soul Stew entertained busy The Courtyard with some fantastic tracks mixed to perfection. The weather was fantastic, the beer excellent, the BBQ perfect, and the music was the icing on the cake!
Later on we had our very own Windsor Ukulele Band performing live at The Swan. Fresh from their success at Alexandra Bandstand last weekend, they were back to full strength after Chris’s short illness. And as usual, the community loved them.
And the party continued once the sun had set. Not even Jools Holland at the Racecourse could put off the locals from having a fabulous time.

An attempt was made at rolling a malteser down a steel tape measure. We achieved 11.6m, which we think is a new record. If you look really closely, you can actually see the Malteser in some of the photos.
The Posters
It brought you great guest beers, lagers and cider, fantastic family entertainment and the best in local musicians Windsor has to offer, this was a local festival not to be missed. At the time, we were in the final round for community pub of the year nationally. What’s better for a community than a great FREE event to entertain the whole family?
The Raffle
The raffle is run by the Friends of The Swan in aid of the renovation funds. As you know, we still have a long way to go to finish all the work and with costs escalating, this is becoming more of a challenge. We sold tickets at one pound each, or cheekily five for £5. You had to be 18 to enter the raffle
We would like to offer a HUGE THANKS to each and every one of the people, charities and companies that offered a prize. In these tough economic times, we were extremely grateful to receive these. Again, thank you from all at The Swan.

SwanFest was also a beer festival. We brought in a range of new and traditional beers and ciders from around the country. The tasting notes are presented here. As always, supply wass limited and the popular ones sold out quickly.
