The Green Room College (GRC), our on-site sixth form college, were delighted to welcome Castro and Mary, their friends from the village of Mankoadze in Ghana. They gave a Swan Elders talk to the students about life in the village and the vocational college, which Castro heads, while Mary spoke about the work she does as a community nurse. The GRC has been linked with Mankoadze for many years now through the Teabag charity and has enjoyed some virtual tours of the village. This is the first time they’ve met in person with some of the people who they all share so much in common.
