The Swan community saw in the New Year with a 1950s ‘Rockabilly’ night, with all the old rock’n’roll favourites playing throughout the evening, courtesy of DJ Micky! Dave and Jago kept the beer and wine flowing steadily, soaking up with some delicious complimentary canapes served by the lovely Steph.
With all the pub tables booked, there was standing room only as more folk started to arrive, but we still managed to clear a little space to have a boogie, and as the countdown began everyone was on their feet to see in 2026 with a glass of fizz in hand, a rousing chorus of Auld Lang Syne and New Year’s hugs and kisses all round!
And The Swan was transformed into Jack Rabbit Slim’s for a few minutes when Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) were dancing.
