This was the first of our Coffee Mornings for one of our six Community Charities for 2026 – Windsor Street Angels. Alice, Swan regular and a dedicated Angel, came along and told us all about the important work they do looking out for the most vulnerable in our towns at night, from street sleepers to young people engaging in the night-time economy. She also showed us how to make sure our own important information is easily accessible on our phones in case of an emergency – amazing!
AND she brought along two cakes to add to the table with a distinctly pub-related theme – her Chocolate and Conqueror and Gin Drizzle both proved very popular (hic)! Altogether the morning raised £205.89, which will go a long way for such a small but vital charity – thank you so much to everyone who contributed. Our next Coffee Morning will be on Friday, 24th April, raising funds for the Friends of Windsor Music.
