Quiz Night was a bit different, as Micky stepped in as Quiz Master for the night! There were puns, and there were riddles, as well as general knowledge and, of course, the ever-divisive ‘True or False’! The wooden spoon was a 6-pack of Tonic Water (there was apparently a shortage of Jammie Dodgers owing to the heatwave?!), but ‘At Least We Tried’ seemed happy enough to receive it! ‘Desperados’ made a welcome return to the winners’ enclosure and Louise Birch picked the star prize of a Packet of Crisps from the raffle!
The next quiz is Weds 10th when QLM again steps aside to allow the GRC students an opportunity to run a fundraising quiz for their Trunks Across The Thames project. A worthy cause, so book your table now on pub.manager@theswanwindsor.co.uk
