During the first half, tensions were running high. At halftime, it was 2-2, and the England defence had yet to turn up. Whatever happened in the dressing room was just short of a miracle, but whatever was said it was a revitalised England that came out. At full-time, it was 4-2, and the crowd that had amassed throughout The Swan sighed a collective, phew!
