The sun shone for our Bar Manager Michael’s last shift before he leaves us to become a Police Officer with Kent Police. Michael joined us behind the bar as a student and we have been really fortunate to have him as our full time Bar Manager the last couple of years. The afternoon went with a bang – Michael was presented with his leaving cards and gifts, gave an emotional speech and then proceeded to get a bit tiddly (he was off duty by then, ‘onest Occifer…!). Thank you Michael, for all you have done – we’ll miss you loads, but look forward to seeing you when you get enough rest-days to visit us again!
