We had a great Coffee Morning to finish off the month. Fundraising was on behalf of our own Renovation Fund, and many regulars turned out to help swell the coffers. We had an update on the progress of the Frontage Project, in which we heard a contractor has been engaged and work will begin in September/October, with final work scheduling dates to be agreed and communicated shortly. We also heard about some of the Board’s early thoughts on the next renovation projects coming up.
The sun shone, the cake table heaved and everybody had a great time, donating a very generous £291.86 to the fund! In fact, we were all so busy eating cake and chatting that nobody remembered to take any photos – sorry!
