We saw September out with another fantastic Quiz Night! Quiz Lord Martin was back at the helm with a fresh selection of brainteasers covering everything from Day-to-Day Life and Palindromes to the ever-divisive True or False round! And with a distinct sense of déjà vu, we had another exciting three-way tie-break for the top prize.
‘Patrick’s Posse’ narrowly came out on top once again, this time seeing off ‘Tequila Mockingbird’ and ‘Hettie’s Heroes’. And would you believe it, Patrick’s good fortune didn’t end there! He went on to pick the winning raffle ticket too, taking home a well-earned pint of beer.
And everyone was delighted to see the Jammie Dodgers awarded to ‘Young and Confused’, our newest team who recently settled in the neighbourhood after moving from the US. That’s no mean feat for a team of just two, faced with some very British questions!
