What a fabulous VE Day 80 celebration we had last Sunday! From opening at noon, our special Lyons Corner House-style café was packed, with our ‘Nippy’ waitresses really having to nip about to keep up with preparing and serving our great 1940s menu! The SPAM sandwiches and Welsh Rarebit went down particularly well, together with the array of amazing homemade cakes and scones!

The Coach House was decked out as a small cinema showing classic war movies such as Casablanca and The Dam Busters.
