In 2021, we began rebuilding our community spirit at The Swan, balancing restrictions with creativity and connection. Smaller gatherings, outdoor events, and adapted favourites helped keep people engaged, while online activities continued to bring everyone together during more challenging periods.

As the year progressed, we gradually welcomed more familiar events back, with growing confidence and support from our community. It was a year defined by resilience, generosity, and a shared determination to keep The Swan at the heart of local life.

January

During the continuing lockdown, we continued online holding Bingo and Quiz Nights.

During Lockdown Three, quizzes and bingo continued, alongside a popular Six Nations-themed beer and cheese night.

Lockdown continued as we hosted a horse racing night alongside our regular online events.

Lockdown ended at last, as we prepared to reopen, refresh the pub, and return to normal life.

May saw our first wedding, Windsor Cycle Hub launch, Brownies’ visit, and a lively Courtyard Market.
