As we trust you are all aware, The Swan has been shortlisted as a national finalist in the Best Community Pub category of the Great British Pub Awards. As part of the robust process, the head judge paid us an unannounced visit last Saturday and spent 2 hours with Micky, asking plenty of questions and touring the site. They will speak again at the final interview later this month. The result will be announced at the National Awards Ceremony on the evening of Tuesday 17th September – Micky will be there in person, and it will be broadcast live at The Swan!
