A Friend of The Swan and a Chatty Café host, Mirella Paul, was doing a sponsored walk to raise funds for the restoration of the pub. It was a horrible say but Mirella and 12 others completed a 5km circular walk that started and finished at The Swan. They raised over £510. Afterwards, they met with other Chatty Café regulars for a good old natter.
Mirella was interviewed by Royal Borough Radio for the Community Matters show with Lizzie Jones. During the interview, she describes what she was hoping to achieve. It is well worth listening to. Congratulations Mirella!
