Chatty Cafe
Chatty Café welcomed a great turnout, with Steph joining, Phoebe the Puppy added to the gallery, and summer outing plans finalised.

The Chatty Café at The Swan is a welcoming weekly community initiative designed to bring people together for relaxed conversation and connection. Held every Friday lunchtime as part of the nationwide Chatty Café Scheme, it offers a friendly, hosted space where anyone can drop in—whether for five minutes or an hour—to enjoy a chat over a cuppa.

Run by volunteers, the sessions aim to reduce loneliness and social isolation, creating an inclusive environment for all ages and backgrounds—from parents and remote workers to retirees and those simply looking to meet new people. At its heart, the Chatty Café reflects The Swan’s role as a vibrant community hub, where small conversations make a big difference.

Chatty Café usually meet on a Friday from noon until 1.30 pm. To find out exact details, please visit the main website.
On occasion, the chatters allow us to take a photo or two. The idea is to show that everybody is comfortable and enjoying themselves. You can find more below. Alternatively, come and join them, all are welcome!
